She knows the work
because she has lived it.
Educator, author, thought-leader, and consultant with over a decade spent walking alongside K–12 schools — elevating educator capacity, strengthening instruction, and building thriving learning communities.

Born from the classroom. Built for transformation.
Dr. Jacynth Joyce is an educator, author, thought-leader, and consultant with over a decade of experience supporting K–12 schools in elevating educator capacity and well-being, strengthening instructional practice, and building equitable, thriving learning communities. Drawing from her experience as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, supervisor, and statewide professional development consultant, she brings a culturally responsive and systems-focused approach to professional learning.
Her global perspective is shaped by her upbringing as a New York native born to Caribbean parents and her study-abroad experiences in the United Kingdom and across Europe. Dr. Joyce partners with districts to align instructional systems with the heart of teaching — supporting educator effectiveness and student success.
She is a two-time alumna of Kean University, where she earned both her Master’s in Educational Administration and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She is the author of three books in the I AM THE ANSWER series, written for students, teachers, and teen girls. Across 14 years and more than 50 districts, she has partnered with over 5,000 educators across New York and New Jersey.
Her work is grounded in the belief that educators are THE ANSWER — and that transformation begins with empowered, well-supported teachers.
She has sat in every seat in the building.
The reason her work resonates is simple: she has lived every part of it.
It started in the classroom.
Before the doctorate and the district partnerships, there was a classroom, a roster of students, and the daily work of teaching and learning. That classroom lens never left — it is the voice educators recognize the moment she begins to speak.

Then she grew other educators.
As a literacy coach and supervisor, she learned how to develop teachers, strengthen instructional practice, and use data to drive decisions — without losing the humanity at the center of the work.
Now she moves rooms.
From district PD days to statewide conferences, she brings the energy, honesty, and self-reflection educators need to hear — disarming hard topics with humor and holding space for the conversations that matter most.

And she builds systems that last.
Today she partners with districts at the systems level — aligning culture, capacity, and instruction so that educators thrive, students rise, and the change holds long after the session ends.
